How to Activate and Renew Your Services

Pair your vehicle and activate serviecs right from the app.

The Mercedes me app lets you pair your vehicle and activate services like Remote Engine Start, Remote Door Lock & Unlock, Vehicle Locator and more, all on-the-go. Simply scan the QR code in the vehicle’s multimedia system, or enter your Vehicle Identification Number in the app to pair your vehicle. 5, 9 Then activate your services in the Manage Services settings in the Garage menu. If you need assistance, please contact our Customer Assistance Centre or your Mercedes-Benz dealer.

On-demand via the Mercedes me connect Store

The Mercedes me connect Store enables you to purchase digital on-demand upgrades for your vehicle or renew Mercedes me connect services after the complimentary trial. Get the ultimate upgrade for your Mercedes-Benz with Connect+ and use your smartphone to remotely operate, customize and digitally add to your vehicle.

Start your vehicle’s engine remotely, and automatically heat or cool the cabin to your last climate control setting.6, 7
Lock or unlock your vehicle from virtually any location, and know that your vehicle is always secure.7
Send an address from your phone directly to the Navigation system in your car. When you get to your car, you can start navigating right away, or save the address to your head unit.4, 7
For hybrid and electric vehicles, view your charging status and activate climate control remotely.7

Stolen Vehicle Assistance allows the customer to easily and safely assist local law enforcement officials in locating and potentially recovering their stolen vehicle.
You will receive a notification whenever the ignition is switched on or whenever your vehicle is moved away from its parking space.7
A smartphone notification informs you in real time should your vehicle be moved or disturbed. In addition, the Mercedes me App shows the cause of the alarm as well as the level, place and time of the damage. When potential parking damage is detected, you will also see this information on the multimedia display when you enter the vehicle.8
The nearest charging station is easy to find with Mercedes me Charge. The Mercedes me Charge charging network offers you extensive access to public charging stations. Link your Mercedes me connect account to the provider to access the charging network. Locate a station in the MBUX multimedia system or using the Mercedes me connect App. Start charging simply via MBUX in the vehicle, the Mercedes me connect App or the Mercedes me Charge charging card. And the bill? This is issued automatically and centrally online, regardless of which providers you use.
View live traffic information and optimized route guidance on your vehicle’s navigation.4
With Car-to-X Communication, information is exchanged between vehicles on the road, alerting you to various hazards up ahead, such as an accident, fog or icy conditions.4

Many ways lead to your destination. Your Mercedes-Benz knows the best way to get there. For this purpose, the navigation system is provided with real-time traffic data. Should road conditions change and a different route becomes a faster option, alternative routes will display directly in the Mercedes-Benz navigation system. You can choose a different route either by simply selecting it in the navigation system or by driving directly along the new route in order to activate it in the system.
To use the Satellite images, simply set the appropriate icon in the navigation settings. The Satellite view will then be superimposed on the standard navigation map. To explore new landscapes, towns or cities from above, you can also move around the map as you please.
Thanks to Music Streaming, your favorite songs are now seamlessly integrated into your vehicle - stream directly via the MBUX multimedia system.11

Our Connect Services come standard for your Mercedes-Benz and are available lifetime. To take advantage, all you need to do is create a Mercedes me ID, agree to the Terms of Use, link your vehicle to your Mercedes me account and download the Mercedes me App on your smartphone.

View the latest data from your vehicle, including mileage, fuel level, tire pressure and more.7
Get reminders of upcoming service, and book an appointment with your preferred service dealer.
With any vehicle, wear and tear is bound to happen. Be notified if your car is in need of servicing or a certain part needs to be inspected.
If you’re ever involved in an accident, receive immediate assistance and have a towing service arranged via Roadside Assistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

To become a Mercedes me connect user, you must own a model year 2019 and newer Mercedes-Benz vehicle (excluding B-Class and smart) or a 2023 and newer Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van. Connect Services such as Vehicle Status and the Mercedes-Benz emergency call system are lifetime services, while Connect+ Services, including Remote Engine Start and Remote Door Lock and Unlock are complimentary for one year for 2023 and newer vehicles.1 You will need to download the Mercedes me app to use these features.
Your dealer will be happy to assist you with this at the time you purchase your vehicle. If you’ve already left the dealership, your connected vehicle services can be activated and deactivated right from the Mercedes me app. Simply download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, register and add your vehicle using the on-screen instructions, and then you will be able to activate your services. If you need further assistance, your dealer will be happy to assist you.
You do not have to provide a credit card to use Mercedes me connect. Standard Connect services includes a wide range of safety and convenience features, while Connect+ services are complimentary for the first year starting with model year 2023. If you would like to renew your services afterwards, you will need to provide a credit card for payment in the Mercedes me Store.
Most remote services will stop functioning but your account remains open and active for non-expiring services. You can view what is still active in the Mercedes me app.
You can visit https://shop.mercedes-benz.com/en-ca/connect/ to view eligible services (when logged in), add the Connect+ Services to your shopping basket and check out. The service(s) will activate immediately once your vehicle has an active connection. Please note activation can take up to 48 hours depending on the coverage zone.
